Royal Huisman is giving its 57-meter sailing yacht Twizzle a makeover that will make it even more attractive and functional. In preparation for the summer season, the company has replaced Twizzle's rigs for improved performance. Royal Huisman also had the yacht's hull and spars repainted.
The weather in Palma, Mozambique delayed the project for a few days. High winds made it too dangerous for the team to replace Twizzle's rigging. The weather eventually gave them a 12-hour window to finish the job. The team, which includes Twizzle's crew, managed to finished the project by 5:00 PM without any complications.
With its new rigging, Twizzle will soon head to France, where she will get new sails. Royal Huisman also plans to put her through intensive sea trials in France to make sure she is prepared for a summer of adventurous travel.
