Sophisticated and refined, Benetti's launch of the 49-meter custom displacement yacht Elaldrea took place at the Viareggio yard March 29, 2018. The contemporary yacht was built for a previous Benetti owner in Benetti's signature Italian style, christened Elaldrea upon launch from its construction name of Project Zafiro.
Horacio Bozzo Design created a minimalist interior, assisted by the Benetti Style Department. Underscoring the feel on board Elaldrea, Bozzo commented, “The minimalism and purity of the lines are the heart and soul of this project, in which the demand for functionality embraces the design.”
A spacious, 60 sqm owner's suite features a balcony with automatic sliding doors and two walk-in wardrobes, a dual bath, and an office/study space, all blessed with abundant light from generous glazing. There are six guest cabins, two of which are VIPs. In all, Elaldrea welcomes 12 guests accommodated by 8-10 crew in 4 cabins.
The guest area furnishings outdoors bear the brands of Sutherland, Vaar, and Link Outdoor, complemented by Poltrona Frau, Giorgetti, Softhouse, and Arketipo indoors. Use of Canaletto walnut, Tanganyika, and a variety of marbles from Travertine to Afyon Miele, Sahara Noir, Crema Luna, and Port Laurent were selected for interior spaces, with silks, velvets, and steel detailing.
The 115 sqm flybridge with a 4-meter sea water pool provides storage for a 3.4-meter crew tender has lots of dining and sunbathing space. An additional 3.4-meter tender awaits guest use in the garage.
