One of the most massive yachts ever built by Feadship, the distinctive Lady S unveiled few of her gifts as she emerged from the Royal Van Kent facility in the Kaag yard on Oct. 19, 2018. With many details still unwrapped and undercover, onlookers were treated to long, powerful lines and distinctive marks like a circle punctuating the main deck glazing amidships. Gracefully allowing some overhead views and lovely long shots, Lady S, formerly Project 814, stretched out her 93 meters for the camera.
Naval architecture by Feadship de Voogt, dovetailed with an exterior design from Michael Leach and interior design from Reymond Langton all but ensure Lady S holds a superb list of materials employed by an extraordinarily talented build team. The Feadship yard commented that she is a “beautiful and contemporary jewelry box,” hinting at the design and technology treasures to be revealed upon delivery. Michael Leach Design posted a familiar Oscar Wilde quote, “I have the simplest of tastes. I am always satisfied with the best.”
Details remain guarded, but the few released ensure Lady S will be superior. She will have a two-deck IMAX theater. A fully certified helipad with Jet A fuel will shuttle guests ship to shore. Four VIP suites each boast 8k television screens for crystal clear images and high-quality film viewing. Sports aficionados will appreciate the facilities geared to golf, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. A 14.10-meter beam ensures vast interior space.
Five years into the build, work ahead under the protection of cover from winter includes balconies, wings, and additional features that will continue to add fabulous detail to this extraordinary yacht. Holding an impressive rank on the top 100 world’s largest yachts forecast, Lady S is scheduled to completed and delivered in 2019. We anticipate an incredible reveal.
