Feadship 93m Prepares for Long-Anticipated Debut

At 93 meters long, Dutch shipbuilder Feadship’s new masterpiece is claimed to be “representing one of the largest yachts” they’ve ever built. Despite taking on such a challenging project, a close examination of what the team has been able to accomplish so far will reveal that the team has clearly been off to a very productive start.

The ship was recently towed to Feadship’s shipyard, which is located in Kaag, the Netherlands. Though the bulk of this work of art has already been completed and her objective beauty can be clearly observed, there are still a few final touches that will need to be completed.

Over the course of the next few months, there will be numerous crucial additions made including several important wing stations as well as several different balconies. The yacht—which has already had at least some experience on the water—is expected to be entirely finished and ready for international exploration in the Spring of 2019.

Naturally, considering that this masterpiece is already five years in the making, there are many people who are excited to witness the final product. The owners themselves have been exceptionally involved and have already expressed their gratitude, saying, “we want to thank Feadship director Jan-Bart Verkuyl and everyone at Feadship for taking us on an amazing journey.”

Built with rare materials found all around the world and some of the top luxury brands on the market, this particular ship has been able to embody the commitment to elegance, luxury, and exceptional design that characterizes the yachting industry as a whole. The exterior was designed by Michael Leach Design and the interior design was done with the help of Reymond Langton’s.

The members of this dedicated team were carefully chosen, largely due to the fact that they have earned reputations admired throughout the greater yachting industry. Having the capacity to pay attention to the owner’s specific wishes while also being able to offer valuable input of their own is a unique skillset that has certainly been quite valuable.

As you explore the ship, the owner’s general love of sports becomes abundantly apparent. In fact, even for a ship of this size, being able to incorporate facilities for golf, basketball, volleyball, and soccer (football) is certainly quite the accomplishment. The two-deck IMAX theatre and high quality televisions that can be found throughout the ship help demonstrate her “fun” appeal even further.

There is no doubt that everyone involved in the construction of this masterpiece already have a lot of things that they can be proud of. As the final touches are incorporated and she prepares to make her full debut, it is clear that the horizon is certainly very bright.
