Destination Review by NAVIS Magazine.
The Jumeirah Group is a luxury hospitality provider that has been in operation for the past two decades. They are the people responsible for Dubai’s Burj Al Arab hotel with its iconic and instantly recognizable profile and its well-founded reputation as the most luxurious hotel in the world. The Jumeirah group has expanded into several markets and has maintained a presence in London as part of its extensive property portfolio.
During a recent London stay NAVIS had the chance to experience the exclusive, elegant, and tasteful Jumeirah Living Apartments. We stayed at Mayfair’s Grosvenor House Suites, but Jumeirah has several luxury locations in the London area that guests may select from. Jumeirah is dedicated to providing high-end and exclusive hotels and suites, and using their knowledge of hospitality they have acquired, redesigned, and refurbished several properties across London to offer their guests the best in luxury accommodation.
Grosvenor House Suites By Jumeirah Living
After being chauffeured from the airport through London’s busy streets in a shiny new Mercedes, we arrived after just 45 short minutes at the Grosvenor House Suites. These are private luxury apartments with an upscale hotel-style ambiance. The stunning location of this Jumeirah Living property is situated right in the heart of London’s exclusive Mayfair neighborhood just across the street from the beautiful Hyde Park.
As we entered the simple elegance of the reception belied the true luxury of the rest of the building. A concierge welcomed our arrival and escorted us to the elevator. As the door parted, we were led into a sumptuous and elegant second reception area and welcomed by Peio Elustondo, the properties Marketing Executive, who after introductions, led us promptly to our luxurious two-bedroom apartment. Our luggage had been placed in the room already, and breakfast had been thoughtfully prepared for us.
From the window of the apartment, we had a stunning view of Hyde Park and the passing scene of the upscale Mayfair neighborhood with shops, restaurants, pubs, and historic Victorian homes. Every amenity had been thought of and provided in the suite to make our stay as comfortable and elegant as possible. Access to the property was restricted exclusively to guests, and a digital key card is used for entry and exit to the hotel’s areas.
