Feadship's legendary 26.60-meter sport fisher yacht, Catch, has been relaunched following an extensive winter refit at the company's Amsterdam shipyard. Originally delivered in 1984 under the name Gallant Lady, the yacht has undergone multiple transformations, with the latest one breathing new life into this iconic vessel.
Catch, a rare Feadship sport fisher yacht was acquired by a serial Feadship owner in 2022. Despite the yacht being in excellent condition at the time of sale, the owner brought her back to the Netherlands to ensure she remained a true Feadship. Pier Posthuma de Boer, Director of Feadship Refit and Services, expressed the company's pride in having long-term clients return their yachts for refit work.
The owner collaborated closely with Peter Wilson of MCM and designer Adam Voorhees to create a comprehensive work list, which included a full repaint, new teak decking, revarnishing of exterior teak, and numerous interior upgrades. Technical maintenance and an LED lighting system upgrade were also completed. Notably, the refit created an additional crew cabin, increasing the crew capacity from two to four.
Catch's aluminum hull and superstructure, along with her advanced propulsion system featuring 2x MTU Marine Diesel engines, ensure a top speed of 24 knots. Her elegant interior, designed by Lisa Pirofsky Designs Inc., offers luxurious accommodations for both the owner and guests.
After the refit, Catch is set to sail to Eemshaven and will be transported to the US by the end of the month, where she will undoubtedly turn heads and make waves in the yachting community.
