At the helm of Infinite Jest is Captain Tim Davison, a seasoned navigator whose leadership was instrumental in the yacht's daring expedition to the southernmost continent. "Leaving the South American continent behind and venturing towards Antarctica was a leap into the unknown," Davison recalls. The transition into the Antarctic convergence zone brought about a dramatic shift in the environment – from the color of the sea to the emergence of icebergs, signaling their entry into a world of unparalleled adventure and beauty.
