Baglietto, a renowned Italian shipyard with a rich heritage in yacht building, has recently added to its impressive 2024 portfolio by delivering five new motor yachts to their owners. These deliveries, which include two DOM 133 motor yachts (Barbara Anne and Astera) and two T52 hulls (Akula and Infinity), follow the handover of the award-winning T52 Ark of Fate. This latest achievement underscores Baglietto’s commitment to excellence and innovation in yacht construction.
The T52 Ark of Fate, which garnered the prestigious World Superyacht Award 2024, currently sails through Asia, showcasing the shipyard’s ability to produce world-class vessels. The delivery of the additional yachts marks a significant milestone in Baglietto’s productivity, a feat made possible through substantial investments in human resources and infrastructure. CEO Diego Michele Deprati highlighted the expansion of their manufacturing and technical teams, as well as the enhancement of their shipyard’s capabilities, including the imminent launch of the B-Zero green hydrogen station. This initiative aligns with Baglietto’s long-term strategy to embrace sustainability and innovation, setting the stage for further advancements in the coming years.
Baglietto’s Chief Commercial Officer, Fabio Ermetto, expressed pride in the shipyard’s achievements, noting the robust organizational strengths that have underpinned these successes. As the company looks forward to delivering two more T52 yachts later this year, it celebrates the satisfaction of knowing that their clients will be enjoying these meticulously crafted vessels.
With its headquarters in La Spezia and an additional site in Carrara, Baglietto specializes in the construction of new planing aluminum yachts ranging from 38 to 50 meters in length, as well as steel and aluminum displacement mega-yachts over 40 meters. The shipyard has undergone significant renovations, including the construction of new sheds and quays, allowing it to build and berth larger yachts. Baglietto’s operations are also expanding into the military sector under the BAGLIETTO NAVY brand, while the company’s Bertram Italian line is set to launch new models.
Baglietto’s continued growth and dedication to quality are evident in these recent achievements, reinforcing its status as a leader in the luxury yacht industry.
