Rhoades Young Design was founded in 2001 by Dick Young and then in 2002 Jonathan Rhoades became a Partner. The company is a specialist in designing sailing and motor yachts in a classic and contemporary yet creative style. They have a lot of experience in creating all sorts of interior designed to ultra lightweight engineered interiors to refined traditional exteriors. Rhoades Young Design is very meticulous in every detail the project has.

Dick Young has a career of nearly twenty years in the yacht design industry. He began working in the prestigious studio of Andrew Winch Designs. He became the the Creative Director and was known for implementing a legacy of specialist office management systems for yacht design. Dick's last achievement in Winch studio was the Royal Huisman 'Surama' which won a ShowBoats Design Award for Best Sailing Yacht Interior.

Jonathan Rhoades is a very talented architect who worked in many different companies. He began his professional career working in London for CZWG Architects and then restoring chapels and buildings for a conservation architect. He also worked in Thomas Eriksson Architects in Stockholm, Nokia and Ken Freivokh Design. When he joined the company he was consider an invaluable asset and became in 2012 a Partner. Due to Jonathan's arrival the company has design some of the most prestigious Motor and Sailing Yachts.

Rhoades Young Design philosophy is to create the most creative yachts so that they become the future classics.
