Description

Perini Navi was founded in 1983 and became specialized in producing sailing yachts. Nowadays, Perini Navi is a very important group. The Perini Navi Group is operative in the superyacht field under two brand names: Perini Navi, for the sailing division, and Picchiotti,for the motor yacht division. Picchiotti was acquired to allow the Group to enter the motor yacht division.

The Perini Navi Group has  bought  four companies over time with the objective of maximising production capacity and getting into a new market. Now, the Group is working in five specific market segments: big sailing yachts from 40 to 60 metres, huge sailing yachts over 60 meters and custom, a racing line of sailing yachts, a fast cruising line of sailing yacht and Picchiotti motor yachts from the VitruviusÎÂ series.

The Perini Navi Group's central offices are located in Viareggio, Italy. In this office all the sailing yachts are drawn, developed and constructed. The Picchiotti VitruviusÎÂ series is constructed in another place, in La Spezia, Italy. The metal working division is located in the industrial area of Tuzla-Istanbul, Turkey.The area has a 42.000 sq mt waterfront which is ideal for the construction of hulls and superstructures of both motor and sailing yachts. The group also has offices in Newport, Rhode Island.These two places are used for commercial structure in which they offer important services such as chartering services and brokerage services.
