Feadship was founded in 1949 by two family shipyards -Royal Van Lent and De Vries Scheepsbouw- and De Voogt Naval Architects. Together they created this world leader in custom-built superyachts based in the Netherlands. Its head office is located in Haarlem.

De Voogt was established in 1913 and its close relationship with the De Vries and Van Lent yards is central for Feadship to achieve high standards in every aspect of design and construction. The company's expert team covers every discipline of yacht engineering and design: mechanical engineering, naval architecture, and interior design.

At Studio Do Voogt, the team of professionals frequently conducts brainstorming sessions and pore over the latest Feadship-commissioned research studies. Nowadays, a profile has emerged of eco-conscious owners who enjoy using their superyacht in a casual way and show concern for the environment.

Feadship stands for First Export Association of Dutch Shipbuilders. Each personalized superyacht build at Feadship is created in partnership with an owner who invests in an exceptionally gratifying construction experience. To be able to dominate the mega yacht world, Feadship has progressed in the last years and acquired new characteristics: greater speeds, reduced fuel consumption, higher ceilings, lighter interiors, new generation technologies, and more water sports.
