The Benetti shipyard has launched its elegant 70-meter custom build yacht, the FB 273.
Launched in the Italian city of Livorno, the steel hull and aluminum superstructure extends across six decks with a futuristic stern featuring two side doors and - in what is a first installation for Benetti - a swimming pool with variable geometry that sees the pool's depth varying for children and adults.
The pool is an integral part of the yacht's main deck, and when fully raised, it will, along with the beach club, open out over the sea with two side terraces.
There is also a vertical bow with a 'touch-and-go' helicopter landing pad, and the sky deck features a Jacuzzi.
Lots of space and large sunbathing areas
The main deck's outdoor and indoor spaces are ample.
Towards the stern, there are full-height glazed windows and surfaces to create a light-filled living area along with sofas and chairs. The deck also features a dining room with a balcony that amplifies the sensation of having close contact with the water.
There are six double cabins on the lower deck for up to 12 guests, and the crew quarters are in the bow area.
Benetti developed the elegant exterior design and worked closely with the experienced owner to create a yacht offering both performance and functionality, while Laura Pomponi designed the interiors.
Yacht's upper deck is dedicated to the owner
The 1,425 GT yacht's upper deck is entirely dedicated to the owner which is accessible using either an impressive interior stairway or from outdoors.
The private cabin in the bow occupies more than 120 square meters, and there is a 180° view of the horizon. There is also a sauna and shower in the bathroom, plus his-and-hers walk-in wardrobes.
The superyacht features two 2,400hp Caterpillar engines that help propel the yacht to a 17 kn top speed, a cruising speed of 12 kn, and a range of 5,000 nautical miles.
