Viareggio, February 28, 2023: This upcoming spring, AB Yachts is set to make a splash with its latest creation, the AB80, soon to be sailing along the American East Coast.
The AB80, with a 25.40-meter LOA but officially under 24 meters in length, serves as the entry-level model in its series, boasting an alluring design and cutting-edge technology found in all AB Yachts vessels. Capable of reaching top speeds of over 55 knots and cruising at 45 knots, this yacht is perfect for shallow waters and provides remarkable performance and maneuverability. Its efficient construction and propulsion system results in minimal fuel consumption, making it easily managed by the owner, who can choose between a leisurely cruise with loved ones or a luxurious day-boat experience.
Every area onboard the AB80 has been custom-designed and outfitted by the Group's Centro Stile to meet the owner's preferences and the yacht's intended functions. The layout is highly practical without compromising on space, light, and style. The main deck features a galley equipped with heavy-duty appliances, opening up to an eight-guest dining area on one side and the aft cockpit on the other. Fully retractable sliding doors create a versatile space for cooking, cocktail making, or enjoying refreshments while watching a game on the massive TV in the saloon. A custom-made sofa enhances the lounge area, while an up-and-down TV system separates it from the pilot house, providing both entertainment and privacy.
This main-deck arrangement allows for four guest cabins on the lower deck: a full-beam master stateroom aft, a nearly full-beam VIP suite forward, and two twin cabins amidships, one with sliding beds that effortlessly convert into a double bed at the push of a button. Expansive sunbathing areas in the aft and fore cockpits, as well as on the fly, and a 12,000-Watt stereo system ensure unforgettable experiences—be it a yacht party on a Miami sandbar, anchored in the Bahamas or cruising in the Hamptons, this yacht is designed for enjoying music, friends, and exceptional performance.
The AB80 also caters to water enthusiasts with its large aft garage, capable of storing two ski jets that can be effortlessly launched and retrieved using a slide system, ensuring all necessary equipment is readily available for maximum ocean enjoyment.
As the first AB Yachts model of the year built for the American market, the AB80 will soon be joined by the AB120, a brand-new model making its global debut in the United States.
