Vitters Shipyard and Oceanco report that they will deliver their innovative AQUIJO 85-meter sailing yacht by the end of April. The companies brought together some of the world’s greatest authorities on naval architecture, interior design, and exterior design to built this one-of-a-kind vessel, including Tripp Design Naval Architecture and Dolker + Voges. The project was managed by Master Yachts, who represents the owner.
Everything about AQUIJO pushes the boundaries of yachting technology and style. The 90-meter masts, two of the tallest masts in the world, stand out as some of the most obvious innovations. Below the water, though, there are other crucial pieces of technology that make AQUIJO a joy to navigate. Vitters Shipyard created a unique system that transfers energy from the rudder blades to the steering wheel, giving the helmsman constant feedback for a more pleasurable experience.
AQUIJO also has an impressive design that blends exterior and interior spaces. This makes her an extremely social vessel where guests can interact with each other whether they are relaxing inside or operating from the deck.
A true marvel of technology and aesthetics, AQUIJO stands out as one of the most impressive sailing yachts released in 2016.
