A Visionary Design by Jim Robert Sluijter
HAVEN's concept and exterior design were meticulously crafted in-house by Jim Robert Sluijter, Lürssen's Lead Exterior Designer. The superyacht features a low profile with long, elegant, feminine lines that sweep gracefully from bow to stern, embodying a sense of majestic athleticism. A striking element of HAVEN’s design is the sinuous concave patterns running across her superstructure, reflecting the movement of waves under the sun’s illumination.
Sluijter shares his insights into the design process: “The Owner fell in love with the first outline of the project, and as a result, HAVEN has barely changed from the original sketch. HAVEN feels very different from many other yachts; her practical and functional design greatly emphasizes outdoor living. Thanks to an interplay of light and glazing, all interior spaces are well connected with the outdoors.”
Balancing HAVEN’s sleek exterior is a contemporary interior designed by the esteemed British studio RWD. The interior design utilizes natural and pure materials, with asymmetrical shapes and a dynamic layout that creates a sense of fluidity and movement. Mattia Mazzucchi, Head of Interiors at RWD, describes the design journey: “Our team went on a journey with the Owners and their family to create a distinct design vocabulary, with subtly crafted details that create a playful and timeless interior. Combining curated pieces and custom designs will make every inch of HAVEN beautiful, personal, and functional. Striking artworks draw the eye with their vibrancy around every corner. Bold, confident, fun, and energetic, where the joy of color takes center stage.”
HAVEN boasts impressive dimensions, with a length overall (LOA) of 82 meters and a beam of 12.5 meters, placing her among the world’s largest tri-deck superyachts afloat today. Built for an experienced Owner with an active lifestyle, HAVEN was designed with a clear vision: generous outdoor space, a family-oriented layout, and ample storage for water toys and diving gear. The yacht's highlights include a 300-square-meter sun deck with a 2.5-meter ceiling height, moveable windbreak panels, and a generous beach club with single-step sea terraces that offer a seamless connection to the sea.
