The 70-meter Numptia stands out as one of the most impressive Italian superyachts on the water. Created through a partnership between Rossinavi Shipyard, which built and designed the engineering elements; Axis Group Yacht Design, which created the naval architecture designs; Design Studio Spadolini, which handled the exterior design; and Salvagnii Architetti, which created the interior design, this all-Italian superyacht has a number of custom features that help it stand out from other vessels in its class.
The owner already had years of experience with top-of-the-line yachts, so he wanted a meticulously crafted vessel that would fulfill the needs of his family for generations to come. This meant creating a 70-meter yacht with high performance standards, a convenient layout, and a highly aesthetic design.
Numptia's naval architecture relies on a perfectly shaped hull made of steel and aluminum. The designers originally estimated that Numptia would hit her stride at close to 16 knots. During sea trials, though, they found that they had underestimated the advantages of her hull shape: she reached 16 knots at halfpower. When pushed to top speed, she reached 18.6 knots. They currently estimate that Numptia has a range of about 7,500 nautical miles traveling at 12 knots.
With that kind of performance, Numptia obviously has a strong architectural design and superb engineering. These exacting technicalities are only rivaled by the beauty of her interior and exterior designs.
Numptia has five decks, all of which, except for the sundeck, can be reached via a glass elevator. She has four guest cabins on the lower decks that offer plenty of space and luxury for the owner's family and friends. Each room shares an aesthetic that balances dark light and dark. Room's feature deep ebony wood and carefully bleached teak as well as marble, stone, bronze, and a range of fabrics that all work together to complete a common aesthetic. The dining room has an impressive alpaca metal table and a bar that snakes through the area. Interior spaces also have plenty of windows that let natural light fill the rooms, enhancing the beauty of the choice materials.
While every room has its special features, the owner's suite stands apart as a space designed from true inspiration. The owner's beam consists of three distinct areas. The reading room provides a quiet place for reading, conversing, or just relaxing within the room's beauty. A central bedroom offers a refuge from the outside world, making it perfect for a night of sleep or dozing away an early morning. The television viewing area has a state-of-the-art entertainment system that makes each viewing a special occasion. Connected to the sleeping area is a central bath with his-and-hers dressing rooms, heads, and a shower.
Exterior areas also have unique charm and high-class features. The sundeck, for instance, has a 4-meter infinity pool with hydromassage water massagers. A nearby helicopter pad easily transforms into an additional sundeck or party area. It already has disco lights and electrical outlets for a band, making it the perfect spot for the owner to kick off a lively event.
The Numptia stands out as one of the world's most adventurous yachts. With its sophisticated aesthetics and choice designs, the owner's family will certainly enjoy Numptia for many years to come.
