The internationally renowned Princess Yachts International plc is pleased to announce that Richard Lambert has joined the Board at Princess Yachts International plc as M Class Director. With this change, the shipyard aims to enhance the company’s existing capability to support the growing demand of Princess M Class superyachts.
Richard’s extensive experience in the yacht industry, especially in his previous role as Managing Director of the OceanStyle division of Burgess, specialized in satisfying the owners and buyers’ needs in semi custom luxury motor yachts in the 20 to 45 meter range. In his new position, Lambert will be in direct contact with the existing sales team as well as with both the manufacturing and product development teams at Princess.
This action acknowledges the growth of the superyacht market sector within Princess and has occurred with perfect timing, taking into account the company’s recent and successful launch of the Princess 40M at the World Superyacht Awards earlier this month. The development of the company’s new superyacht manufacturing facility, located in South Yard, has also progressed after the Government Regional Growth Fund (RGF) awarded Princess with a grant of £4.5 million in April. The aim of said grant is to back a major investment intended to turn the site into a world leading shipyard.
