The Crazy Me, or YN 16250, an all-aluminum, semi-displacement motor superyacht, was presented by Heesen at its Oss facility. The owners threw the YN 16250 a private christening ceremony and a party to celebrate the hard work and superior craftsmanship of those at Heesen who collaborated in the creation of this stunning vessel.
The visionary owner of Crazy Me is to be credited for her conception, for pushing the boundaries of design and creativity. Gary Grant was appointed by the owner to design the exterior lines. Together they designed an incredible superyacht with clean and pure lines that form a unique profile that makes it very easy to recognise at sea.
An incredible feature the megayacht has is the use of Formed Glass which is a Gary Grant signature feature. The Formed Glass not only looks amazing but also is a very effective at insulating the sound.
The Italian designer, Christian Gatto, helped the owner choosing the interior design. They created an incredible modern interior that emphasizes the big internal volume.
Crazy Me is fully equipped with a sundeck that has a breathtaking custom glass-bottomed pool which allows beautiful natural light in. The superyacht also has a spectacular music system pioneered by the Owner and a customized speaker new to yachting.
The Owner's representative Alex Banning of SuperYachtsMonaco comments:"the Owner
has noticed, respects and is highly appreciative of the general excellence Heesen have accomplished in executing Crazy Me's highly complex technical aspects which have been extremely demanding and challenging. One of the most distinctive yachts ever delivered in Northern Europe is a true testament to the Owner's inspiration and Heesen's quality and skills as a Superyacht Builder of true pedigree."
Crazy Me will be delivered to her owner in June 2013 after she completes the sea trials in the North Sea.
