Excitement is building as Luerssen plans to launch its Mistral megayacht. The boatyard has been working on this project for over 31 months. Luerssen released some information in 2013 while completing Mistral’s keel. Since then, insights have been scarce. Luckily, there are a few things that we know about this luxurious yacht.
The Mistral measures at least 100 meters in length. Some experts believe she is 106 meters long, but Luerssen has neither confirmed or denied this number. Regardless, Mistral is the second-largest yacht Luerssen plans to release this year.
She has an exterior that was designed by Espen Øino, who has become a favorite among Luerssen’s clients.
The name of Mistral’s owner has been kept secret. It is common knowledge, though, that the owner has a fleet of yachts and plans to keep Mistral somewhere in the Middle East.
