Lürssen announces that it successfully launched its 123-meter project Jupiter on the 27th of October. The company expects to deliver the new yacht to her owner in spring of 2017.
Project Jupiter brought together two design teams that have not worked on Lürssen yachts before. March & White created the interiors while H2 Yacht Design made the yacht’s exterior look. Both companies received technical services from Winterbothams. Y.Co Management oversaw the project.
The collaboration has been an extraordinary success. Jupiter contains several innovative features that will certainly please her owner. Designers at March & White spent their time developing a timeless aesthetic for the interior. The teams at March & White and H2 Yacht Design collaborated to create a 20-meter interior atrium located in the yacht’s center. The atrium allows natural light to pour deep into the boat and give guests a connection to the outside.
A 123-meter yacht is an ambitious project for Lürssen, but the company has managed to give it a sporty look despite its large size. The balanced proportions, glass facades, and flowing lines all contribute to a beautiful yacht that her owner will cherish.
