Since the 56th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (2015), Lürssen has been working hard on their recently launched project Fiji. The yacht—whose exterior is designed by Harrison Eidsgaard and interior is designed by Studio Laura Sessa—is being built to be 95 meters long, have a 14-meter beam, and is expected to be delivered in 2019.
The yacht is designed in pursuit of creating harmony throughout, and this harmony is alleged to extend to her dimensions, function, design, and features. The interior design has been described to be “contemporary modern,” and the exterior design has been described as being both sleek and elegant.
The special features that this yacht plans to have included an expansive sea terrace on the lower deck along with a spa and an impressive beach club. The upper deck will feature plenty of outdoor areas, an intimate fireplace, a walkable skylight, and a helicopter landing area located near the bow.
Lürssen has earned their reputation as one of the world’s top shipbuilders because of their attention to detail and commitment to excellence in all that they do. Though it will still be a good bit of time before the ambitious ideas behind Fiji come to full fruition, fans of Lürssen watercraft certainly have a lot to look forward to.
