Tankoa has firmly established itself as a namesake in the yachting industry and, naturally, there is no surprise that the company was able to successfully launch yet another ship—Solo—as of August 1st. This ship was the client’s second build with the company and was also the second yacht to be built with Tankoa’s 70/72 meter technical platform.
Upon their successful launch, seemingly every member involved in the process recognized that there was a lot for them to be excited about. The design team was led by the legendary Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini, and the ship will make her official international debut at the 2018 Monaco Yacht Show this September.
Tankoa’s CEO Euro Contenti appropriately recognized, “Solo will be exhibited in Monaco and will surely be a show stopper as she is an exceptional yacht that will demonstrate that Tankoa is THE alternative to Northern European shipyard to build a high-quality yacht at reasonable cost and extreme flexibility.”
As you begin to examine Solo’s beautiful design, you will realize that this ship is one that has successfully been able to live up to Contenti’s confident claims. The ship has a variety of luxury features including a beach club, an owner’s study/media room, full-height windows (with 180-degree views), and plenty of different toys for the 12 passengers aboard to play with. Additionally, the Jacuzzi, bar, and full-furbished salon help give the yacht a very complete feel.
Solo is undeniably a very exciting new ship that clearly demonstrates why Tankoa has established a globally appreciated reputation. Watching the ship in motion or getting to experience her firsthand are without a doubt once in a lifetime experiences. Yachting enthusiasts around the world will certainly have a lot to be looking forward to once she docks in Monaco later this year.
