She has been hailed as 'quite possibly the best we have ever completed' by the builders of the impressive Arrow.
The 75-meter superyacht, built by Feadship, has been named officially at a ceremony attended by her owner.
Along with guests of the owner, many of the shipbuilder's employees were also in attendance to see the yacht, known previously as Project 703, being dramatically lit with multicoloured lights.
This was the first time that the Arrow has been seen with her exterior outfitting and lighting completed with Feadship saying she will initiate a new trend for yachts of this size.
A director of the Dutch boat builders, Henk de Vries, said: "Arrow is a trailblazer for a new, groundbreaking line of super luxurious boats of this length."
"She is an exceptional personal family yacht and is quite possibly the best we have ever completed."
Cutting-edge design for the 21st-century
He added that Arrow will help launch the boat builders into a new decade using cutting-edge design for the 21st-century.
After smashing a bottle of Champagne against the Arrow's bow, the owner said: "This is my first real boat, and I saw many other peoples' superyachts, and have to say that Arrow is the most amazingly executed and beautiful of them all."
Arrow features a 12.9-meter beam along with a steel hull with naval architecture by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects.
The interior and exterior design have been created by Jonny Horsfield and the London-based team at H2 Yacht Design - in their first collaboration with Feadship.
Interior is 'elaborately detailed'
The interior has been described as 'elaborately detailed' and features varnished teak and backlit marble. The accommodation comprises of the owner's suite, along with one VIP stateroom and four guest staterooms. The crew has 12 cabins for their use.
The exterior features high deck heights, low glass railings, and expansive gangways and amenities include a mosaic-lined bespoke Jacuzzi on the sundeck.
There's also a beach club aft that features a unique bar area, and her designers have taken steps to minimize the noise transmission between the interior living spaces.
The Arrow has a maximum cruising speed of 17 knots and a range of 5,500 nautical miles.
Mr de Vries said the project had 'brought out the best in everyone' involved and added: "Arrow illustrates how we can leverage our experience with fully custom yachts to ensure representatives and their owners feel confident about the major investment involved, and enjoy the process."
Along with Project 703, Feadship says it will deliver five yachts this year, including a 99.75-meter project and a 72.85-meter boat.
