The imposing and striking 142-meter Nord has undergone extensive sea trials in the North Sea.
Built by Lurssen in Germany, the luxury superyacht was once known as Project Opus and has been the focus of a lot of yachting world attention in 2020.
She was launched in 2019 and will be home to 36 guests in 20 en-suite staterooms, including the owner's suite.
The interior and exterior have been created by the award-winning Italian Nuvolari Lenard design studio and they have conjured up an impressive motor yacht.
She features an extensive foredeck, covered aft decks, and a bulbous bow.
Two of her decks sit within the hull, and the remaining four decks are part of her superstructure.
Nord’s amenities are ultra-luxurious
The Nord’s amenities are ultra-luxurious, and she has spectacular features which include an oversized swimming pool, a sundeck Jacuzzi, a spa room, a beach club and two helipads.
There is a helipad on the bow with another on the landing deck aft that features side platforms that will fold down to provide shelter for the helicopter.
The aircraft can also be stowed away in a hangar that retracts to slide neatly into the Nord's superstructure when not being used.
The owner's deck also features their own private study, and the yacht comes complete with air-conditioning and Wi-Fi.
Other features of the Nord include a sports and diving center which is on the lower deck, and there is a fleet of custom tenders for those onboard to enjoy.
Built to the Lloyds Register PYC classification
She has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure that has been built to the Lloyds Register PYC classification.
While details about the Nord are scarce, the design studio has previously revealed that she will 'have long-range cruising capabilities’ to enable global exploration.
The mast carries all of the necessary navigational and communication equipment that she will need.
The construction work has been overseen by the Moran Yacht & Ship team, and she is the largest yacht sold by them.
One of the world's largest superyachts
She will now take her place in the top 15 of the world's largest superyachts.
The Nord was launched in July and is one of the most anticipated motor yachts of the year.
