Premier boatbuilder Amels has now begun the final outfitting of its impressive 74-metre superyacht 'Project Shadow'.
She is also known as 'Amels 242' and will be delivered to her new owners later this year.
The stylish creation was built at their yard in the Netherlands and is the work of designer Tim Heywood, and the naval architecture has been provided by Damen Yachting.
The yacht is from the boatbuilder's 'Limited Editions' range, and the owners have worked closely with Winch Design on her unique interior.
Dedicated owner's deck
Project Shadow features a dedicated owner's deck with a foredeck Jacuzzi installed.
There's also a helicopter deck with increased capacity, and the yacht has been fitted with the latest Tier III clean emissions propulsion and power package.
The top speed of the 1,790 GT superyacht is 16.5 knots, and she has a range of 5,000 nautical miles. Her cruising speed is 12.5 knots.
The construction of Project Shadow has been under the supervision of Moran Yacht & Ship and the eye-catching creation has room for 12 guests and a crew of 19, including the captain.
She has a steel hull and aluminum architecture.
Unique ice blue hull color
The sale of the yacht was announced in early 2021 and the personal requirements of her owners include the unique ice blue hull color that helps her stand out.
This is the sixth yacht from the boatbuilder's 'Limited Editions' line-up which offers superyachts with proven technical abilities and a platform for custom interiors.
Since 2005, Amels has delivered more than 40 of their 'Limited Editions' yachts.
Amels says that their range allows for upfront investment in construction and engineering while maximizing the customization process.
This then reduces the superyacht's delivery time to just a few months instead of several years.
