The latest yacht to be delivered by boatbuilding outfit Heesen is the head-turning ELA, known as Project Altea.
The impressive yacht was built in the Netherlands and set sail in the summer for the Mediterranean with her new owners and family on board.
She is the second yacht in the boat builder's sub-500GT Nova Plus class, emphasizing efficiency and performance. 50 meters overall with a lightweight, aluminum, and fast-displacement hull.
A stylish yacht
The owner also gets a stylish yacht capable of a maximum speed of just under 20 knots, along with frugal fuel consumption.
Her draft is just 2.15 meters, which helps make her one of the most efficient yachts of her type to be built in the Netherlands.
ELA is undoubtedly an impressive yacht with a striking profile characterized by her bold spray rails and vertical bow.
Heesen says it took just three months between purchase and delivery after she caught the eye of her new owners.
Interior designer Cristiano Gatto personalized ELA
They worked with the Heesen team and interior designer Cristiano Gatto to personalize ELA to meet the family's requirements.
Cristiano says: "Together with the client, we revisited all the loose furniture, inside and out, selecting new materials for all the upholstery and the key items from Paola Lenti, B&B Italia, Poltrona Frau, and Promemoria.
"But more importantly, we designed bespoke pieces, such as tables, sofas, and lamps, all beautifully crafted by Italian ateliers, who delivered them in record time."
There's room for 12 guests who are accommodated in six rooms, and the owner's suite is found on the main deck forward, while the remaining five cabins are on the lower deck and include two twins, two doubles, and a full-beam VIP stateroom.
Besides being a beautiful design, ELA is also the first Heesen to carry a peak-shaving battery system.
Heesen's head of Design & Development, Peter van der Zanden, said: "This, in my opinion, makes the yacht genuinely efficient and more sustainable."
