The fifth yacht launched for Heesen in 2021, Project Aura, was launched on December 17th at their Netherland-based Oss facility. Despite the challenges faced by the recent pandemic, the desiccated workforce and agile supply chain allowed the project to complete on schedule.

Project Aura is a 50-meter bluewater superyacht that has taken inspiration from classic automotive design elements. Clifford Denn, the exterior designer, has created a vessel that features long flowing lines that culminate around a steel round-bilge hull which offers maximum comfort and is ideally suited to extended trips. Blending intricate and luxurious detail with practicality, the yacht has been styled to afford the largest possible volume. Maximizing use and versatility, the exterior spaces aboard Aura create a generous outdoor experience. A sun deck with jacuzzi and alfresco dining, to a part enclosed sky lounge on the aft deck creates outdoor experiences alive with excitement.
With a double staircase leading to the fold out swim platform, accessing the water is easy. The range on the Aura reaches 3800 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 13 knots, and the hull design allows the yacht to slice effortlessly through the water.
Interior styling from British Studio, Reymond Langton Design has been characterized by clean lines and Scandinavian simplicity. Textures, materials, and LED lighting combine to create an organic yet ethereal feel, and accents of sea greens and deep blues lift the taupe and white palette with a sharp, modern contrast. Aura can sleep up to 10 guests in her 5 modern staterooms, and the generous full-beam master suite is located on the main deck and features pale decor, an ensuite bathroom with double washbasins, and a comfortable workspace.
