In a private ceremony, the Ferretti Group’s brand CRN 62 meter superyacht Rio has been christened and entered the water for the first time. Project C138 to be delivered as megayacht Rio is a steel and aluminum collaboration between CRN, Omega Architects, and Pulina Interiors. The exceptionally sporty-looking vessel displays sharp lines and an almost vertical bow, giving it a uniquely strong and defined profile and a striking visual appearance.
The bold superstructure is softened by the interspersed glass elements lining the upper decks and balanced by the large porthole windows to the lower deck areas.
Ferretti Group is committed to sustainability and is dedicated to reducing environmental impact. As such, the construction process was supplemented by solar systems and reductions in power and heat consumption to minimize the ecological effect of production processes. Impressive savings of 30 - 70% in heat and power were achieved, underscoring the shipyard’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint.
In a fully customized and artisanal revelation, Rio has been crafted to provide the ultimate cruising experience while enjoying freedom and privacy. Interior and exterior space supply ample living, dining, and entertaining opportunities with alfresco eating areas, a beach club that contains a fitness area and wellness lounge, and a number of impressively spacious social zones. The exclusive Owner’s deck is a private haven for reflective solitude, or it may be enjoyed as a lively gathering place.
The 4 deck superyacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in a full-beam master cabin and 5 guest suites. Cabins include 2 full-beam VIP suites, 2 doubles, and a twin. Guest rooms and deck areas can be accessed by private elevators that travel from the deck to guest areas. Designed to reflect the Owner’s personality to the full, Rio exemplifies the expertise and quality consistent with Ferretti’s Ancona-based shipyard.
