Displaying unparalleled customization of bespoke fixtures and a singular design, M/Y RIO is a four-deck expression of CRN’s expertise and quality yacht construction. The steel and aluminum mega yacht, known as Project C138, recently underwent her first successful sea trial. The collaboration between Omega Architects and Pulina Exclusive Interiors has captured the essence of the new owner’s personality and artfully reflected a passion for sailing and onboard living.
The near-vertical bow and flowing hull lines make Rio an incredibly striking vision, and the voluminous internal and external living spaces benefit from a carefully balanced distribution of light and space that creates freedom and privacy simultaneously. Rio promises a shared cruising experience like no other and can accommodate up to 12 guests and 15 crew in her ample cabins. In addition to a generously sized owner's suite, there are also 2 full-beam VIP suites and 3 lower deck suites. A sleekly integrated elevator connects all floors and makes travel between decks smooth and seamless.
Celebrating the owner's personality to the full, Rio encompasses substantial artisanal aspects and features a number of indoor and outdoor socialization zones and private areas including a superb fitness club, beach platform, and a wellness lounge. The owner’s deck has a versatile dual function as a private, intimate haven, or it can be quickly converted into entertainment heaven.
After her January launch, the 62-meter yacht's first sea trial was concluded satisfactorily this March at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, Italy to the great delight of the teams, technicians, and constructions crews that have been dedicated to the completion of the project. The first on-the-water tests supervised by CRN’s engineers and external yacht specialists were passed with flying colors, and a series of trials and functional examinations confirmed Rio’s performance capabilities and superior build quality.
