A new yacht from CRN hit the water for the first time on May 21, 2022. The CRN 142, christened as M/Y CIAO, was launched from the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona. The private event was attended by the owner, senior management, and employees with their families.
The 52-meter superyacht was sold by Eduardo Cury, President of Miami Yacht Access. The client was represented by Antonello Vittorio MELONI. M/Y CIAO was made entirely of aluminum and was designed and built by CRN in close collaboration with architecture and design studio Omega Architects, who conceived the external lines, and architects Massari Design, who created the outdoor guest areas and interiors.
This new custom yacht is 52 meters in length, 9 meters in the beam, and has a gross tonnage of 499tn. It spans 4 decks and can accommodate up to 10 guests in the main-deck owner suite and 4 VIP cabins below. CRN M/Y CIAO is a tailor-made creation with a strong artisanal stamp. Its distinctive taut, svelte exterior lines and near-vertical bow exude a decidedly sporty, dynamic personality. A large amount of full-height tinted glazing on the main and upper decks creates a continuous visual effect, providing passengers with uninterrupted views of the sea while maintaining their privacy. Even the wheelhouse has three large windows that emphasize the external lines of the ship, creating a cohesive spatial and visual design.
The yacht’s design reflects the owner’s vision for comfortable outdoor spaces that are still connected to the indoor spaces. The result is a vessel that balances indoor and outdoor areas seamlessly, creating a harmonious and functional unity. A wealth of features enables the owner and guests to enjoy a shared cruising experience. Such features include the sizeable al fresco dining area on the upper deck, the comfortable and versatile lounge areas with a sun zone and spa pool on the sun deck and main deck, and the bright and roomy saloons on the main and upper decks.
