Sanlorenzo 62m Lemon Tree Superyacht

Along with a warm, subtropical climate, growing lemon trees along the Amalfi Coast and on the island of Sicily requires attentive nurturing. The aroma from the tree’s blossoms fills the air with a light, fresh fragrance, slowly turning to fruit that grows, ripens, and sweetens.

Yachts, as with lemon trees, also require attentive nurturing, particularly when the concept is still a seed, ready to germinate, grow, and blossom. Many a prospective yacht owner brings the pip of an idea to a yacht builder, providing rich enthusiasm for the envisioned yacht; a dream seeking fulfillment. That’s where Sanlorenzo comes in, transforming the essence of the dreams, cultivating them into the steel, teak, silk, and leather realities of the completed, Sanlorenzo motor yacht Lemon Tree.

Sanlorenzo’s Philosophy: Your Vision, Our Craft

Since 1958, Sanlorenzo has been producing high-quality yachts from the original shipyard near Florence, later locating to Viareggio, then finally inside the natural reserve in La Spezia, Italy. Committed to the production process, Sanlorenzo embraces a work culture based on dialogue and safety, in tandem with promotion of an ethical and sustainable supply chain.

They are proudly self-sufficient with regard to energy from photovoltaic panels. The Ameglia site, also committed to minimizing waste, is working to obtain ISO 50001 certification of the Energy Management System and the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001 certified) for all four Sanlorenzo sites.

To ensure the owner defines the yacht, as opposed to the yacht defining the owner, Sanlorenzo listens carefully to customer needs, incorporating their tastes, habits, and style to create a yacht tailor-made specifically for each owner. Through a five-stage customization process, each project identifies the number, size, and types of cabins to adequately provide for comfortable guest accommodations. The project focuses on purposed areas for the owner’s activities, such as entertainment, relaxation, and fun.

Interior Design Notes: The Beauty of Balance

A casual sophisticate, Lemon Tree achieved status with design by Francesco Paszkowski, in collaborative partnership with Margherita Casprini. Jerusalem stone, bronze accents, subdued hues, and textures from nature’s design book are set against a soothing background of light oak and lustrous ebony. Glass, marble, plush carpeting, and open spaces, all are exquisitely detailed and laid out by experts in the industry.

Paszkowski Design, based in Florence, is sought out by the top shipyards as well as individual yacht owners. Known for their thorough understanding of what the client wants, they do their research, then work to balance and experiment with ideas and solutions that create one-of-a-kind interior designs reflecting owner’s personalities and lifestyles. Joined by Margherita Casprini in 2006, the collective talents of Paskowski and Casprini include World Superyacht Awards, Best Boat of the Year, and Best Designer of the Year.
