On January 27, Heesen set sail on a new journey with the launch of Project SkyFall, christened MY Ultra G. This marks their first announcement in what is going to be a very exciting and busy 2023 at the facility in Oss.
Heesen has established itself as the world leader in designing, engineering, and constructing lightweight, ultra-fast luxury yachts. MY Ultra G has become the paragon of knowledge and experience. Its 60 meters of astounding speed are also accompanied by incomparable luxury.
The layout of this vessel is designed for joyful, social outings and also affords the master suite a much-needed level of privacy and peaceful tranquility. Ample and sumptuous comforts such as jacuzzi jets and a sizable walk-in wardrobe are included in the master suite’s onboard amenities. Perfect for entertaining guests, the main saloon space houses a wine refrigerator featuring carefully calibrated sections at different temperatures. The star attraction is the media room, complete with an 1814mm by 8063mm screen from Samsung’s The Wall series as well as a stately games table located on the main deck forward.
No gathering would be complete without music; that is why you’ll love partaking in receptions on the sundeck’s infinity pool facing aft!
We have carefully designed several features to help make our canine guests feel as safe and stress-free as possible during their stay on the ship. One notable feature is the ‘relief area’: a self-flushing synthetic
grass section of the deck, which is equipped with sensors, cameras, and sprinklers. Our attention to detail helps ensure that all passengers have an enjoyable experience.
Guests of MY Ultra G will find thirteen crew members ready to tend to any needs they may have. This luxury haven can be navigated discreetly, ensuring guests maximum comfort and convenience. In order to deliver an optimal experience, the propulsion system is engineered with ultra-technology and astonishing sophistication. With 22,000 horsepower generated by its four MTU 20V 4000 engines and four Kongsberg S90 waterjets, its environmental compliance meets Tier III standards. Using less back-pressure and higher power output, its center engine operates solely for reaching higher speeds--all while reducing draft to less than three meters and vibration by 40 percent when compared with regular shafts and propellers.
MY Ultra G is a remarkable vessel, thanks to its aluminum Fast Displacement Hull Form, course fins, gyro stabilizers, and interceptor trim plates. Its FDHF hull provides greater efficiency than a standard semi-displacement shape, resulting in an impressive top speed of 37 knots under light load conditions. MY Ultra G’s extra volume makes it comfortable while cruising at lower speeds and offers plenty of space for equipment and amenities alike. System commissioning is underway before it heads out onto the North Sea for trials.
