The world of yachting has experienced a new dawn, with the inaugural launch of the Mangusta Oceano 39, on the 31st of May, 2023. It's a testament to innovation and elegance, marking an exciting chapter in the annals of Mangusta's Oceano displacement line.
Taking place in the scenic locale of Viareggio, the launch was an event marked by grandeur and anticipation, witnessing the participation of her owner, the dedicated Mangusta team, and the skilled workers who have added their expertise to the construction of this maritime masterpiece.
This triumphant step forward into the waters of creativity represents the entry-level of the Oceano line, as highlighted by Overmarine Group's CEO, Maurizio Balducci. With pride in his voice, he emphasized the innovative design of the Oceano 39. Glazed surfaces take center stage in this three-decker marvel, providing the closest contact with the surrounding seascape.
Continuing the journey of the Mangusta Oceano line, which already features the 44m and 50m models, the Oceano 39 represents a unique collaboration between the shipyard's Engineering Department, the esteemed designer Alberto Mancini, and the design firm Studio Verme.
The vessel embodies technological sophistication and exquisite design, imbibing her category with a distinct identity. It's akin to a modern villa at sea, blending outdoor and indoor spaces effortlessly through expansive glass surfaces and foldable terraces.
Perhaps the most striking aspect of the Oceano 39 is the signature Mangusta Design feature, an infinity pool located forward on the upper deck, complete with a partial glass bottom. This elegant addition allows natural light to filter through, creating captivating water reflections in the master stateroom.
The Oceano 39, equipped with 2 MTU 12 V 2000 M 86 1700 HP engines, guarantees Mangusta's signature noiselessness and comfort while offering a range of up to 2,600 nautical miles. With a version housing 2600 HP engines also available, this vessel is setting the pace for her peers.
The story of this inaugural launch isn't just one of luxury and innovation but also of customization, with the interiors fully personalized to the owner's taste. This brings us to hull number 3, the next unit available for sale, with a delivery date set for November 2024.
