With all of the accoutrements of Come Together, the first yacht in the Amels 60 Limited Edition series, this second build adds some very versatile deck extensions. Its streamlined interiors emphasize the open and expansive nature of the design, establishing a balanced sense of space for gracious gatherings, large and small.

By the Numbers

Entourage, delivered in late February of 2023, complements a 60-meter hull with a 10.40 meter beam. Built for an experienced owner, this customized Amels 60 embraces the owner’s global vision. It clearly prescribes to his sophisticated design preferences, and is impeccably tailored to his personal entertainment style and flow.

Amels engaged the master of yacht design, Espen Øino, to sculpt the chic Entourage exterior. The owner brought Canadian design team Burdifilek on board to deliver distinctive, neutral shapes, shades, and textures throughout the interior. Damen Yachting designed the naval architecture. They worked with Espen to trade the trapezoidal windows so recognizable on Come Together for a long, sleek, uninterrupted stream of glazing aboard Entourage.

The yacht sleeps 12 guests in six sumptuous cabins with accommodations for 13 crew, working in a larger laundry and dry storage area. The main deck master, extraordinary by its 160+ square meter dimensions, further expands the charms of the suite with a fold-down, seven-square-meter terrace. The adjacent twin suite with its own en suite bath, serves as an additional guest cabin, nanny suite, children’s quarters, owner’s office, gym, or use of personal choice. Dual sets of stairs, one with dedicated crew access, assure discreet service and guest privacy while moving from deck to deck.

Earning IMO Tier III compliance and powered by two diesel electric engines, the yacht presents four modes of hybrid propulsion. At anchor, Entourage runs silent on battery power alone, supporting a shore converter or a single generator, ensuring continuous service for hotel loads. Using the batteries plus generators, Entourage slips gently across the water propelled by the hybrid electrical drive motors.

At maximum efficiency with main engines generating electrical power plus propulsion, Entourage quietly cruises along between 7 to 14 knots. Full power mode engaging batteries, generators, and main engines delivers maximum speed of 15.5 knots with full hotel load backed up by battery power. At a cruise speed of 13 knots, Entourage covers a 4,500 nm range.

Standout features include a six-person jacuzzi tub, a raised foredeck suitable for landing aircraft up to 3,000 kg maximum takeoff weight, a 9-meter tender, a 6.2-meter crew/rescue tender, and two 3-person waverunners. Secured and protected, the 9-meter tender, undoubtedly the largest on any yacht of this size, as with all of the accessory watercraft on board, is deployed by the foredeck, jib type, 3400 kg. crane.

The Beach Club

The graceful Beach club stairs fan out in a welcome embrace to port and starboard as guests board at water level. The central beach club transom door, continuing the wood edges of the stairs across its width, strikes an harmonious chord across the stern. A large transom door window sweeps natural light into the beach club. A pair of chaise lounges and umbrellas seem to suggest a sun or swim session is imminent.

A few steps down through the door, the watersports store, glass-walled sauna, shower, and changing room to starboard and day head to port encircle open space. The clearing stands ready for exercise equipment, massage table, sofas, or your preferred selection of accoutrements.

Should guests board from the passerelle to port rather than the beach club level, Entourage delivers guests directly to the main aft deck.
