Oceanco, a renowned shipyard, has made a significant advancement in the construction of its new luxury yacht, the Y726. This exceptional vessel was recently transported along the Oude Maas River from Oceanco's initial construction site in Zwijndrecht to its outfitting facilities in Alblasserdam. This move marks a pivotal stage in the yacht's construction, where it will undergo final outfitting before its launch, sea trials, and delivery.
The Y726 stands out with its impressive dimensions, boasting an overall length of 111 meters, a beam of 16 meters, and a displacement of 4550 gross tonnage. This makes it one of the largest yachts by volume that Oceanco has ever built. The yacht's striking exterior design is the work of Espen Øino International, and it features a warm and refined interior by Mark Berryman Design. The Y726 can comfortably accommodate up to 28 guests, catered to by a crew of up to 34.
One of the unique aspects of this project was the involvement of Rotterdam-based graffiti artist I AM EELCO, who was invited to add a playful touch to the yacht during its transportation, symbolizing a significant milestone in the project.
The Y726 is replete with luxurious features, including a winter garden, a covered cocktail area, an outdoor cinema, and a private owner’s area complete with a jacuzzi. The yacht also boasts a multipurpose entertainment area that includes another jacuzzi and a swimming pool. Inside, guests will find a cinema lounge, gym, spa with sauna and steam room, and a beach club lounge with a bar that opens directly onto the swimming platform. Large windows integrated throughout the yacht will provide spectacular views.
