Unparalleled Craftsmanship and Design
The Columbus Atlantique 43 is distinguished by an interior layout that caters specifically to the owner's needs, offering an exquisite combination of materials that create a sophisticated yet functional environment. The fluid forms and aesthetic sensibilities of the vessel are designed to ensure both maximum functionality and the sheer joy of life on board.
A special acknowledgment goes to Camper & Nicholsons New Build Division, who represented the owner from the pre-contract phase through the entire build. Acting as the owner’s project manager and technical surveyor, their expertise has been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition.
Engineering Excellence
The 43-meter steel hull, paired with an aluminum superstructure, boasts a maximum beam of 9.05 meters and a gross tonnage of approximately 460 GT. The exteriors and interiors, crafted by the Hot Lab studio, present a series of stylistic, design, and functional elements dedicated to the joy of sea travel. Dubbed "Architecture for voyagers," this design philosophy ensures that every moment on board is enjoyed to the fullest.
Naval engineering was a collaborative effort between Columbus Yachts and Hydro Tec studio, resulting in a vessel that seamlessly blends the sleek lines of a motor yacht with the classic elegance of a sailing boat. The exterior profile, reminiscent of a smooth, artfully carved stone, features a single soft yet aggressive shape free from any edges or sudden shifts in inclination.
Luxurious Interiors and Spacious Layout
M/Y Frette is designed to meet its owner’s exacting requirements, featuring expansive outdoor areas that blend seamlessly with the generously sized indoor spaces. This design approach ensures total contact with the surrounding landscape, enhancing the onboard experience. The "sailing-type" stern is perhaps the most distinctive area of the Atlantique 43m, featuring a 5-meter long central swimming pool. This area is positioned low to the water, just 50cm above sea level, and includes two lateral folding side wings that enhance the feeling of direct contact with the water.
The lower deck is outfitted with five double cabins, including three twin cabins and two VIP cabins that can be joined and converted into a VVIP suite, each with a private bathroom. The forward area of the lower deck is dedicated to the crew, featuring three double cabins, each with a bathroom, along with a crew mess and laundry facilities.
Superior Amenities and Performance
The stern of the vessel houses a 5.5m tender with a garage on the starboard side, while the main deck forward accommodates both a second tender (rescue boat) and two jet skis. Powered by two 970kW Cat C32 Acert engines, the Columbus Atlantique 43 can reach a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14.5 knots, ensuring smooth and efficient travel.
