Launch of 79m Project Toro and Transfer of 76m Project Arrow

The week of May 20th, 2024, marked significant achievements for Turquoise Yachts as the prestigious shipbuilder successfully launched the 79m Project TORO and transferred the 76m Project ARROW to their Pendik shipyard. These milestones underscore Turquoise's commitment to innovation, design excellence, and their pivotal role in the luxury yacht industry.

79m Project TORO Launched

On May 21st, 2024, Turquoise Yachts proudly launched the impressive 79m Project TORO. This vessel, marketed by SuperYachtsMonaco, is poised to be one of the largest yachts delivered by Turquoise, following the 77m yacht GO. Project TORO is a testament to the collaborative efforts between Turquoise Yachts and Harrison Eidsgaard, a renowned name in yacht design.

Ben Harrison from Harrison Eidsgaard expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We are delighted that our first collaboration with Turquoise Yachts is the full custom 79m Project TORO. She features a neo-classical exterior with hints of a funnel rising from main deck to sun deck. The interior is the definition of serenity and calm, featuring a huge Neptune lounge, and many other stunning features."

Project TORO's interior and exterior are designed to exude tranquility and sophistication, setting a new standard in luxury and comfort. The yacht's design elements, such as the large Neptune lounge, highlight the meticulous attention to detail that Turquoise Yachts is known for. The successful launch of Project TORO showcases the shipyard's dedication to pushing boundaries and creating vessels that are both technologically advanced and aesthetically pleasing.

76m Project ARROW Transferred to Pendik Shipyard

Just two days after the launch of Project TORO, Turquoise Yachts achieved another significant milestone on May 23rd, 2024, with the transfer of the 76m Project ARROW from their Kocaeli facility to the Pendik shipyard. This transfer marks a crucial step in the completion of Turquoise's first hybrid yacht.

The hull and naval architecture of Project ARROW were designed by Turquoise, with the exterior styling by the Italian studio Team for Design—Enrico Gobbi, and interior design by H2 Yacht Design. This collaborative effort has resulted in a yacht that is as spacious as it is sleek, boasting a beam of 13.2m and a gross tonnage of 1932GT.

Project ARROW is distinguished by its hybrid drive propulsion system, an innovative feature that sets it apart in the world of luxury yachts. Powered by MTU 12V4000 M65L diesel engines and a state-of-the-art hybrid drive, the yacht can reach speeds of up to 10 knots in battery mode. This capability allows for silent operation for extended periods, thanks to the 1.5 MW lithium battery capacity. The permanent magnet electric motors, integrated by MTU and powered through gearboxes produced by ZF, offer an alternative propulsion method, ensuring flexibility and efficiency.

This advanced hybrid system not only enhances the yacht's performance but also underscores Turquoise Yachts' commitment to sustainable and cutting-edge technology. The integration of traditional diesel-powered propulsion ensures that Project ARROW remains versatile and efficient, meeting the diverse needs of its future owners.

Turquoise Yachts: A Legacy of Excellence

Turquoise Yachts currently has six yachts under construction, including the 80m Bravo, the 76m Arrow, the 87m Vento, and the 79m Toro. The 42m S/Y Wildcat and the 51m S/Y Rainbow II are also in line for completion, following the successful delivery of the award-winning 75m Infinite Jest and the 53m Jewels.

The launch of Project TORO and the transfer of Project ARROW reflect the shipyard's unwavering dedication to quality and innovation. Turquoise Yachts continues to set new standards in the luxury yacht industry, delivering vessels that combine cutting-edge technology with unparalleled design and craftsmanship.

In conclusion, the recent milestones achieved by Turquoise Yachts highlight their position as a leader in the luxury yacht sector. The successful launch of the 79m Project TORO and the strategic transfer of the 76m Project ARROW to Pendik shipyard exemplify the shipyard's expertise, vision, and commitment to creating extraordinary yachts that meet the highest standards of performance and luxury.
