Bilgin Yachts has successfully launched Al Reem, the third and final vessel in its 80-meter superyacht series. Following Tatiana in 2020 and Leona shortly after, Al Reem brings fresh design, engineering, and luxury innovations, showcasing Bilgin’s continued leadership in the yacht-building industry.
With a reimagined exterior by Unique Yacht Design and interiors by H2 Yacht Design, Al Reem combines bold aesthetics, increased volume, and a focus on calm, natural living spaces.
A Refined and Bold Exterior
Under the direction of Emrecan Özgün, founder and CEO of Unique Yacht Design, Al Reem features a redesigned superstructure that enhances both form and function. At 1,758 gross tons, she surpasses her sisterships in interior volume by nearly 100 GT, providing more expansive living spaces.
Highlights of the exterior include:
- A Larger Presence: The yacht’s mast is 20% larger, painted sleek gray to complement the metallic gray, white, and black.
- Expanded Outdoor Areas: Extended aft decks offer 20% more social and lounging space, ideal for relaxation and entertaining.
- Forward-Facing Owner’s Suite: Positioned to offer a sweeping 300-degree view, the suite connects seamlessly to a private terrace with a jacuzzi, emphasizing openness and natural surroundings.
Özgün describes Al Reem as a fresh interpretation of the 80-meter platform, tailored to enhance visual impact and onboard experience.
Sophisticated Interiors Focused on Serenity
H2 Yacht Design, led by Jonny Horsfield, created a light, neutral interior palette emphasizing calm and comfort. The interiors prioritize understated luxury through thoughtful material choices and textures:
- Natural Elements: Warm matte timbers, cream leather wall panels, and soft silk carpets create an inviting atmosphere.
- Modern Details: Polished stainless steel accents and decorative glass elements add contrast and visual interest, reflecting light and depth.
- Elegant Focal Points: Unique veined marbles serve as artful highlights, enhancing the natural beauty of each space.
The result is a layout that seamlessly blends open, multifunctional areas with private retreats. Each space fosters relaxation while maintaining an organic connection to the sea.
