Damen Yachting Unveils the Latest in the Amels Limited Editions Line
The highly anticipated Amels 6007, the seventh yacht in the acclaimed Amels 60 Limited Editions series, is entering its final construction phase at Damen Yachting’s shipyard in Vlissingen. Scheduled for delivery in early summer 2025, this 60-meter superyacht represents a refined evolution of the series, combining the expertise of world-class designers with the shipyard’s renowned craftsmanship.

Designed by the acclaimed Espen Øino International, the Amels 6007 continues the series' legacy of blending timeless aesthetics with cutting-edge innovation. Damen Yachting’s naval architecture provides the foundation for the vessel’s proven performance, while the exterior design maintains the sleek yet powerful presence characteristic of the Amels 60 line.
Chris Callahan, spokesperson for Moran Yacht & Ship—the owner's representative—highlighted the importance of this milestone.
“As representatives of the Owner, we are thrilled to reach this significant milestone as the project accelerates toward its summer delivery. Despite our involvement beginning relatively recently, we are delighted that the Owner was able to infuse many personal elements into the yacht, transforming it into a true home.”
Callahan also noted the influence of previous builds, precisely ENTOURAGE (Hull 6002), whose platform enhancements and customizations have carried over into Amels 6007, further refining the yacht’s design and onboard experience.
Bespoke Interiors by Harrison Eidsgaard
Marking Damen Yachting's first collaboration with London-based design studio Harrison Eidsgaard, Amels 6007's interiors reflect a modern yet inviting aesthetic. Inspired by the concept of beach house luxury, the interior features natural materials, soft textures, and a thoughtfully curated color palette to create a warm and tactile environment.
This customization aligns with the Amels Limited Editions philosophy—offering owners a high degree of personalization while maintaining a streamlined and efficient build process. The yacht’s spacious interior spans 335 square meters (3,605 square feet) with a well-balanced gross tonnage of 853 GT, allowing for a seamless blend of elegance and functionality.
Final Outfitting and Anticipated Delivery
With the grand reveal behind them, Damen Yachting’s project team is focused on the final outfitting stage. Joppe Osté, Project Manager for the Amels 60 series, reflected on the journey to this point:
“One year ago, this Amels 60 arrived at our shipyard in the Netherlands for outfitting. All of the work over the last 12 months has been building up to this very moment, and we are incredibly proud to see and be part of this yacht’s launch.”
He emphasized that the team’s efforts are now fully dedicated to ensuring that Amels 6007 is delivered in peak condition, ready to embark on a lifetime of ocean exploration.
Following the final outfitting at Damen Yachting’s Vlissingen facility, the yacht will undergo sea trials before being handed over to its owner in early summer 2025.
