Baglietto Only One: A Nod to Retro in Contemporary Design
The Italian design aesthetic is one that simply defines elegance. A pure example of that aesthetic is the Francesco Paszkowski design of the Baglietto motor yacht, Only One. Together with the Baglietto Technology Department and interior designer Margherita Casprini, Baglietto crafted a sublime sculpture of steel of aluminum, made divine by additions of beautiful woods, elegant marble, chic glass, richly textured fabrics, and sophisticated style.
Baglietto Yachts Timeline
For 160 years, Baglietto has been building boats. Beginning with the fishing boats and dinghies that Pietro Baglietto constructed in his own backyard, to the sleek machines recently launched at the 35,000 square meter shipyard on the Ligurian Sea at La Spezia, Baglietto craftsmen have led the community with tasteful, purposeful, quality design that is both timeless and enduring. Racing boats of the 1920s and 1930s, Wooden yachts of the 40s and 50s, Aluminum yachts of the 70s, palatial vessels of the 1990s, and the tech boom of the first decade of 2000 all find Baglietto talent working on the top yachts of their respective eras.
In Only One, launched in the summer of 2015, Baglietto displayed its strengths, supported by Grupo Gavio with their ownership that began in 2012. With Baglietto under their wing, as well as Cierri Cantieri Navali and Bertram Yachts, their passion for high quality comes with the legends built by these respected brands in the industry.
