Lurssen, one of the most respected German shipbuilding companies, recently announced that it launched its Project Thunder on the 3rd of April. Project Thunder is a 120-meter motor yacht developed in collaboration with Espen Oenino, a designer who has worked on dozens of motor yacht projects across the globe.

Lurssen announced on the 11th of March that it has launched one of its newest projects, a 74-meter motor yacht named Aurora. Lurssen expects to deliver the yacht to her owners by early summer.

Tankoa announces that it successfully launched its 50-meter motor yacht, Vertige, in February and plans to deliver the yacht to her owner in April. Tankoa takes a boutique approach to building yachts that meet the unique specifications of owners. Vertige is the shipyard’s second yacht.

Feadship announced at the end of March that it has launched its 35-meter Letani motoryacht in record time. The company first met with Letani’s owner just two years ago. Feadship’s employees and partners worked diligently to set a new record. Feadship’s director, Bas Nederpelt, however, says that they couldn’t have reached the goal without the visionary guidance and cooperation from Letani’s owner.

Oceanco recently announced that it has launched the largest yacht built in The Netherlands. JUBILEE, a 110-meter (361-foot) motor yacht combines structural innovations with a unique aesthetic, making her one of the Oceanco’s most ambitious projects to date.

Oceanco’s engineers worked diligently to build a sleek yacht with a 16.4-meter (54-foot) beam. Oceanco used a lightweight aluminum superstructure to make JUBILEE as nimble as possible. Her large size, however, gives her a weight of about 4,500 Gross Tons. Much of that weight comes from six decks, accommodations for up to 30 guests, 15 staterooms, and a fully certified helicopter operating deck that makes it easy for guests to visit JUBILEE.

CRN, Winch Design, and Zuccon International Project worked closely together to build a new custom 74-meter (243-foot) superyacht, CLOUD 9. CRN launched the vessel on the 21st of January from its location in Ancona, Italy.

CLOUD 9’s owner is an expert yachtsman who worked with CRN to design a 60-meter (197-foot) yacht. The new yacht represents an even greater ambition to build a superyacht that combines contemporary aesthetics with the latest technology. CLOUD 9 is powered by two Caterpillar engines capable of generating up to 16.5 knots. The yacht has a 15-knot cruising speed.

Lürssen announces that it successfully launched its 123-meter project Jupiter on the 27th of October. The company expects to deliver the new yacht to her owner in spring of 2017.

Feadship has announced that it recently launched a 96-meter motor yacht named Vertigo on the 23rd of November. Vertigo represents a stunning achievement for this ambitious shipyard. Oceanco has kept quiet about the details of its Y715 superyacht project, but the custom yacht builder recently announced that it successfully launched the ship on the 31st of October. The motoryacht will now enter a commissioning period before delivery to her owner.

On the 3rd of September, Feadship launched its new 92-meter yacht, Aquarius, during a private ceremony at the company’s shipyard in Aalsmeer, Netherlands. Aquarius brings together some of Feadship’s most advanced technologies to create a superyacht that travels the world in style.

Feadship created Aquarius with assistance from Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design. The result is a massive yacht that remains nimble in the water.

Overmarine has spent a considerable amount of time developing its Maxi Open Mangusta fleet. The project has already produced several noteworthy yachts that meet the needs of most yacht-buyers. The latest in the Mangusta 165 series, however, stands out as the most impressive yacht to come from this long-term project.

This is not the first time that renowned SuperYacht designer Malcolm McKeon and Vitters Shipyard have collaborated on a new project, but it is the first time that McKeon has done so from the drawing boards of his own design studio and the result is a stunning, contemporary high-performance cruising boat named Missy. The carbon fiber hull was built by Green Marine, a UK based subsidiary of Vitters, and it was then transported over the Netherlands to Vitters Shipyard where construction was completed.

The Farr designed Crossbow is a sistership to Seawave, a yacht that enjoyed a large amount of success in Europe by taking first place at the Rolex Capri International Regatta and third place at the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta in Porto Cervo. From the look of it Crossbow has the same winning pedigree. At 31.71 meters on deck the yacht is just over 100 feet in length and is a total masterpiece from the plum bow to the broad transom.

It also includes an extendable balcony for the owner’s stateroom. With the push of a button a teak-covered platform slides out from under the starboard companionway using an innovative pull-out mechanism. Feadship, long known for building massive state-of-the-art motor yachts took a client-first approach to the newest boat just launched, a 34-metre motor yacht that reinforces the brand’s celebrated ability to surprise and delight. Here is how things transpired. The client wanted a yacht that was smaller than the usual Feadship size in order to be able to access new markets where mooring facilities are restricted and facilitate cruising in shallower depths.

It’s not surprising that the latest creation from the Ferretti Group, a world leader in the design, construction and sale of some of the most iconic brands like Riva and Pershing, have already pre-sold three of their new semi-displacement maxi yachts before the boat has been officially presented to the public. The new Navetta 37 has an overall length of 37.04 meters (121.6 ft.) and is a flagship yacht for the Ferretti Group which is known for producing some of the world’s top luxury motor yachts.
