A Dutch submarine manufacturer, U-boat Worx, has launched a new series of submarines called the NEXUS. This series breaks from the traditional mold of submarines and is designed to be more accessible and user-friendly. Previously, U-boat Worx manufactured only private and commercial submarines, but the NEXUS series is designed for a wider audience. The company has sold over 20 of its highly successful Cruise Subs to private operators, resorts, and cruise lines since 2017.

A new yacht from CRN hit the water for the first time on May 21, 2022. The CRN 142, christened as M/Y CIAO, was launched from the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona. The private event was attended by the owner, senior management, and employees with their families.

CENTOUNO NAVI, an Italian brand that has just launched its first range of superyachts, is about to upset the market. The company's founders, all experienced naval architects, have created a new line of boats that can reach speeds in excess of 58 knots. With a starting price below €2 million, these yachts are set to revolutionize the luxury boating industry.

Using a demonstrated technical platform and enhancing it further with fully customized interiors has proven to be a winning formula for Damen Yachting. More than 40 limited edition Amels have been completed since 2005, and the latest inception of Amels 24207 features exterior design by Tim Heywood and is the 7th yacht of the series. Long decks and streamlined flowing lines hints at an almost feminine appearance, however, the gentle outer curves conceal a strong and athletic dynamism.

In a innovative engineering design concept, Tankoa Yachts has incorporated a hybrid propulsion system on their second yacht; Project S501. The fifth yacht launched for Heesen in 2021, Project Aura, was launched on December 17th at their Netherland-based Oss facility. Despite the challenges faced by the recent pandemic, the desiccated workforce and agile supply chain allowed the project to complete on schedule.

In a timeless blend of polished steel, teak, and glass, the launch of Feadship’s 71-meter superyacht ‘Juice’ captivated onlookers with a display of elegance and style. Named as a nod to modern American artist Ed Ruscha, the elegant superstructure defines a masculine flow with sleek exterior lines and distinctive creases with a minimalist and contemporary style created by the removal of all unnecessary components. Exterior elements have been finished in polished steel to enhance the frame of the main deck 8-meter pool and define staircases and pillars.

In a private ceremony, the Ferretti Group’s brand CRN 62 meter superyacht Rio has been christened and entered the water for the first time. Project C138 to be delivered as megayacht Rio is a steel and aluminum collaboration between CRN, Omega Architects, and Pulina Interiors. The exceptionally sporty-looking vessel displays sharp lines and an almost vertical bow, giving it a uniquely strong and defined profile and a striking visual appearance.

Acala has been commissioned by an experienced yachtsman who, despite collaborating on projects with numerous other shipyards, has become a repeat client for CDM. Encapsulating the design vision in a comprehensive and intricate design, Acala may be the smallest 80-meter yacht ever built - so joked CDMs co-founder Vasco Buonpensiere.

The yacht’s eye-catching and conspicuous lines are the work of Horacio Bozzo Design, who breathed life into the Owner’s vision.

The new Superyacht PHI from Royal Huisman announced her arrival with a spectacular laser show. As the world’s longest superyacht in the sub 500GT category, PHI’s head-turning exterior design laser-powered lighting systems will leave a lasting impression.

With a reputation for building some of the world’s largest yachts, Lurrsen’s 55.5 meter Moon Sand is the smallest yacht delivered by the shipyard this year, but a definitive step to re-establish the brand’s position in the 55 - 75 meter size bracket. The first since 1995.

Peter Lurssen, CEO, confirmed the new direction by stating, “It’s exciting to build a boat of this size. It is like going back in time.”

Moon Sand is painstakingly customised to meet the new owner’s exacting specifications and has been developed to reflect a developed sense of spatial awareness and color. The British studio responsible for the yacht’s design; Bannenburg and Rowell were inspired by the classic 1973 Lurssen yacht; Carinthia VI.

Initiated and co-organised by Fabulous Yachts with the patronage of P&O Marinas, the Superyacht Summit is to be held in the UAE. Since its launch in 2018, the summit has gained international attention from the yachting community. This year’s auspicious event will be held in collaboration with Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism and the Dubai Maritime City Authority aboard Queen Elizabeth II at the Mina Rashid Marina.

Today the luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce launched the new member of the Black Badge family, the new Black Badge Ghost.
The new car was introduced to a selected group of owners and specialized media in a private ceremony.
