The famous Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) will be held September 27-30, 2017, at Port Hercules in Monaco. The annual show has been serving the elite super yachting community for 27 years, and 34,000 attendees are expected this year. During the past year, the Monaco Yacht Show has organized facility upgrades and improved logistics of bus and boat shuttles to make guest’s experience more enjoyable. The event is four days long and will showcase 125 superyachts including vessels for sale or charter. About forty of these lavish yachts were just delivered in 2017 and are making their debuts in Monaco. There are over 500 leading companies and many exhibits to browse through. They feature a vast variety of products and services where you can admire the latest trends in the industry for high-tech and luxury items. Tenders and toys can also be found on display. In addition to the fabulous yachts, a prestige car exhibition will be located on the car deck. A preview of the extraordinary yachts can be found with images and some specifications online. One of the most anticipated yachts produced by Hessen shipyard—YN 17947 Book Ends—was christened this past month, on June 13th and successfully delivered to her American owners. This 47m beauty has an epic summer ahead of her; she plans to cross the Atlantic to sail around the Mediterranean during peak yachting season, and by the end of the summer, make one more trans-Atlantic voyage to Florida in time for the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

On March 29, Royal Huisman removed one of its latest projects from the company’s Vollenhove facility. Ngoni, a 58-meter sailing yacht, is being sent to Huisman’s yard in Zandaam, where she will receive her mast and prepare for a launch near the end of April.

Some readers may not recognize the name Ngoni because Huisman has been referring to its project as The Beast. The project name came from Ngoni’s owner, who told Huisman that he wanted the company to “build [me] a beast. This has to be an edgy and innovative weapon; fast and furious.”

Rossinavi recently announced that it launched its latest 50-meter motor yacht, Endeavour II, on a beautiful Saturday in February. The launch took place at Rossinavi’s facility in Pisa.

Endeavour II was built to cover long distances. Traveling at 12 knots, she can cross about 5,000 nautical miles. When traveling at her maximum speed, Endeavour II can reach 16 knots. The yacht has two CGT/Caterpillar propulsion systems and two Rolls Royce US 105 P9 CRP azimuthing pods.

Project Thunder is a 120-meter motor yacht developed in collaboration with Espen Oenino, a designer who has worked on dozens of motor yacht projects across the globe.

Feadship announced at the end of March that it has launched its 35-meter Letani motoryacht in record time. The company first met with Letani’s owner just two years ago. Feadship’s employees and partners worked diligently to set a new record. Feadship’s director, Bas Nederpelt, however, says that they couldn’t have reached the goal without the visionary guidance and cooperation from Letani’s owner.

Oceanco recently announced that it has launched the largest yacht built in The Netherlands. JUBILEE, a 110-meter (361-foot) motor yacht combines structural innovations with a unique aesthetic, making her one of the Oceanco’s most ambitious projects to date.

Oceanco’s engineers worked diligently to build a sleek yacht with a 16.4-meter (54-foot) beam. Oceanco used a lightweight aluminum superstructure to make JUBILEE as nimble as possible. Her large size, however, gives her a weight of about 4,500 Gross Tons. Much of that weight comes from six decks, accommodations for up to 30 guests, 15 staterooms, and a fully certified helicopter operating deck that makes it easy for guests to visit JUBILEE.

CRN, Winch Design, and Zuccon International Project worked closely together to build a new custom 74-meter (243-foot) superyacht, CLOUD 9. CRN launched the vessel on the 21st of January from its location in Ancona, Italy.

CLOUD 9’s owner is an expert yachtsman who worked with CRN to design a 60-meter (197-foot) yacht. The new yacht represents an even greater ambition to build a superyacht that combines contemporary aesthetics with the latest technology. CLOUD 9 is powered by two Caterpillar engines capable of generating up to 16.5 knots. The yacht has a 15-knot cruising speed.

Lürssen Yachts has announced that it successfully launched a new project, named TIS, on the 19th of October. Project TIS is an 111-meter yacht that Lürssen expects to deliver to her owners in 2018. Project TIS stands out immediately for its large size. The motor yacht has a 16.85-meter beam and six decks for enjoying the ocean and entertaining guests.
